Open Banking Consent Notice

Version 1.0 · Last updated 11 June 2026

Draft end-user notice. Confirm the wording with your Open Banking provider and legal adviser, and ensure it reflects the consent flow they present. This must align with the provider's regulated Account Information Service terms.

This notice explains what happens when you connect a bank account to Ravn. Please read it before you give consent. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

In short: connecting your bank gives Ravn read-only access to your account information through an FCA-authorised Open Banking provider. We can never move, spend or transfer your money. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

1. What Open Banking is

Open Banking is a secure, regulated way to share your bank data with apps you trust. Access is provided under the Account Information Service (AIS) framework via an FCA-authorised provider ([provider, e.g. TrueLayer / GoCardless]). You authenticate directly with your own bank — Ravn never sees your banking login or password.

2. What you're consenting to

When you connect an account, you consent to Ravn accessing, on a read-only basis, the following from the accounts you choose:

We use this only to: detect and analyse your bills, forecast what's safe to spend before payday, track your net worth, and surface savings opportunities. We do not sell your data.

3. What we can't do

4. How long consent lasts

Under Open Banking rules, your consent lasts up to 90 days. After that, you'll be asked to re-authenticate with your bank to continue. We'll prompt you before access expires.

5. Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent at any time, with no penalty:

When you disconnect, we stop accessing new data and delete bank-derived data we hold, subject to limited legal/audit retention described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your data & security

Data is transferred over secure, encrypted connections and stored securely. The FCA-authorised provider is responsible for the regulated connection; Ravn is responsible for how we use the data we receive, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Important

Ravn is not a bank and the information and forecasts we provide are not financial advice. Always check your own bank for definitive balances and payments.
